A Big Thank You

We want to extend our appreciation to everyone who participated in the Preschool Outdoor Learning Evaluation Study (POLES) project.

The research team is very grateful to all the early childhood educators and parents who supported our study on outdoor learning among young children in Singapore. A big thank you to all of you!

The first part of the POLES project has now come to a close. And the second part of the Early Childhood Development Agency’s (ECDA) project will focus mainly on master trainers. We will not be gathering anymore data from centres and parents.

But there are still plenty of ways to further your knowledge on supporting young children’s movement and development outdoors. Please visit the ECDA website for more outdoor learning resources.

Also, do check out the news on the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) latest physical activity report. Local children are not yet meeting key physical activity targets. So, our continued efforts to promote outdoor learning are essential. Your contributions are meaningful and much needed!
